Mother is a queer club institution in Dublin. A home for electronic, synth, disco and all things dancefloor ready. Every Saturday night, we take over Lost Lane for our weekly club night, creating a space where the music is upfront, the atmosphere is electric, and the door policy is simple: over 21, be sound, be yourself.
Throughout the year, we bring you some of the city’s most beloved queer gatherings, from our legendary Bank Holiday Sunday parties and annual Pride celebrations to our Daytime Dance Party series and special one-off events.
Looking ahead, we’re already planning something special for 2027. From our much-loved Pride party and our annual celebrations to exciting new ideas and unforgettable nights on the dance floor, there’s plenty more to come.

Mother After Dark at Electric Picnic 2022
This summer at Electric Picnic, we’re packing our mirror ball and hosting a late-night queer dance party in the woods of Stradbally. Join us on the forest floor as we bring together the best DJs, dance-party drag, and queer performers Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at the Picnic.
Every evening AFTER DARK, we’ll curate unforgettable late-night revelry courtesy of the wonderful Mother DJs, exciting guests and friends for a fantastic weekend of unbridled queer joy in the woods.
All weekend from 9pm- 4 am, Mother DJs Rocky T Delgado, Ruth Kavanagh and Ghostboy will be joined by a selection of our favourite guests including Billy Scurry, Claire Beck, Mini Kimono, Tara Kumar & Mango.
Joining our DJs is a delicious and talented cast of queer performers, dancers and drag queens. We are delighted to be joined by Pixie Woo, Anziety, Shaqira Knightly, Annie Queeries and many more.
We’re creating an unashamedly queer space at Ireland’s largest music and arts festivals. This ain’t no picnic, it’s a queer dance party.
