Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Mother is a queer club institution in Dublin. A home for electronic, synth, disco and all things dancefloor ready. Every Saturday night we take over Lost Lane for our weekly club, creating a space where the music is upfront, the atmosphere is electric, and the door policy is simple: over 21, be sound, be yourself.

Across the year, we host some of the city’s most beloved queer gatherings, from our legendary Bank Holiday Sunday parties to our annual Pride celebrations, Daytime Dance Party series, and special one-off events.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re expanding our calendar with new seasonal experiences including Imbolc and Halloween parties, alongside the major festival moments Mother has become known for. At the heart of everything we do is community, creativity, and the joy of coming together on the dance floor.

Saturday the 18th September at the National Museum of Ireland Collins Barracks, the Mother Block Party is back.

Hosted by the Queen of Ireland, Miss Panti Bliss and with over 40 performers on our massive mother stage, we’re delighted to announce that our first party in what seems like forever is finally here!

Headlined by the incredible DENISE CHAILA, with ELAINE MAI & GUESTS, MOTHER DJS & BLU HYDRANGEA all taking to the stage. We’ve also lined up a TON of incredible local talent, with shows from Shirley Temple Bar, Dragged Up, Davina Devine, Veda X Bitches with Wolves, SIS, Disco Utopia, Haus of W.I.G., Mockie Ah & Its Just Cat all performing with an abundance of amazing queens & queers.

Kicking off at 4pm and running through to 11pm, we’ve packed in as much talent as possible to make up for lost time.

In association with our friends at Absolut, Heineken, White Claw & GCN.

Supported by the Department of tourism, culture, arts, gaeltacht, sport and media

Big love,

The Mother crew.
