A brand new shining beacon in the Irish festival scene has just launched.Love Sensation, brought to you by the team behind Mother, will pop its festival cherry this August 17th & 18th 2019 at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin. A next generation two-day music and arts festival aimed at the LGBT+ community and their many friends, Love Sensation sees LILY ALLEN, CLEAN BANDIT, GOSSIP&KELIS top the bill across the weekend.
Queerly beloved, this New Years Eve the Mother family are coming together to throw our annual NYE bash featuring feet stomping bangers from the Mother DJs and an explosive electronic live set from one of our favourite guests, Elaine Mai.
Drape yourselves in sequins, do your disco stretches, get in early and join us for an eruption of tunes from resident Rocky T Delgado, confetti and electronic euphoria. It’s been one hell of a year, let's see it out together on the dancefloor.

Kelly-Anne Byrne joins Ruth Kavanagh on the decks to provide the soundtrack to your Saturday night with an electric live performance from LUX ALMA.
LUX ALMA is the new solo project by award-winning composer, musician and sound designer Alma Kelliher. Her music is sometimes contemplative, sometimes pulsing, concentrating on themes of female strength and Irish mythology, all wrapped in a dreamy electro aesthetic with Alma's soaring vocal at its core.
Fresh from an extensive world tour with hit show RIOT by thisispopbaby, Alma is no stranger to the stage. She has also sung for the likes of Villagers, Cloud Castle Lake and Roisin O, and supported acts including Wallis Bird and The Lost Brothers. Come check her out this Saturday night. She hits the stage at 1am.

Deep in an 18th century crypt in the city centre, Mother is waking the dead for an all hallows disco bloodbath. Cleared of corpses and converted, the crypt at the Church on Wolf Tone Square will be playing host to a very special Mother bank holiday Sunday spectacular.
A plague of undead drag queens, re-activated actors, Ghostboy on the decks and an underground hallowicked experience designed to get you dancing with the undead.

On Saturday May 19th, three years since Ireland said YES to marriage equality, Mother is throwing open the Tivoli theatre doors once more and celebrating what our community has achieved together with the third annual YESTIVAL.
Across the two levels of the theatre, in association with Smirnoff, we’ll be rolling up our sequined sleeves, grabbing the Tivoli with both our glittered gay claws and tearing the roof off the place with the biggest queer party of the year.
Headlining the Mother mainstage with an explosion of pop at the stroke of midnight, SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR performs live with support from festival favourites & club residents, The Mother DJs. It’s Mother on the Dancefloor!
Upstairs, enter a world of gender bending performance, trippy theatre, bangin’ tunes and very special sparkling guests as our theatre space is transformed into a queer performance haven. Line Up TBA in the coming weeks.
Over 11 days in October, I.NY explores and celebrates the deep and vibrant connection between Ireland and New York City. The festival invites artists, writers, musicians, educators, entrepreneurs and more to tell the story of how the Ireland New York relationship has impacted their personal, professional and creative lives. It invites as well an audience, from home and abroad, to share their own stories, hear those shared by others, and experience the broader Ireland New York story through a diverse programme of cultural events.
Recently listed as one of the top five clubs in Ireland in the Irish Times, Mother Club is the self-proclaimed ‘most colourful Saturday night party in Dublin City’.
For two nights this October I.NY is bringing Mother to Limerick for a New York disco like no other. Mother will host the I.NY Festival Club at the Granary on Friday 6 - Mother x I.NY - and Friday 13 October with Qool DJ Marv. Tickets are €10 and available in advance from the link above.
The 6th Annual March for Choice takes place on Saturday the 30th of September.
We'll be marching for womens reproductive rights then we'll be hosting the official after party in collaboration with the Abortion Rights Campaign with all profits going straight back to the campaign!

Bon Voyage are an international Hip-House 3 piece from Brooklyn, London & Dublin respectively: Dropping bass lines and spilling rhymes, for your catwalk and dance floor excursions.
